Well, its official. I'm all grown up and graduated! Well...sort of.
As of December, I officially completed my undergraduate degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Quite an accomplishment if I do say so myself :)
Now, however, I'm starting to life a semi real-person's life out in the big bad Capital. Earlier in January I started a new internship with The Washington Post's video department, which is pretty sweet! The gig is paid, but only part time (bummer), but it at least gives me something to do a few days in the week.
During my spare time, I've been catching up on a bunch of little projects, the biggest being a trip to Burma, where I will be working as a videographer for the GW affiliated organization, PISA. I've never been to Asia before, so this will be my first rendezvous with the continent.
Most recently, I've been recovering from the craziness that was Inauguration earlier this week in Washington, D.C. I was in the newsroom during the daytime celebrations and spent my evening at GW's Inaugural ball-- how cool!
Anyways, here's some portraits of my friends I shot over the Inauguration weekend-- more journalistic photos to come!
P.S. I am so excited for all that is to come this winter and spring!

Part of bringing in the new year in the Canadian Rockies is, obviously, a new years snow shoe! Here's some shots I captured during my trek earlier to day. I promise I'll be more descriptive and chatty with my posts when the holidays are over!
